Stéphanie aka @cicadaink_ is a machine tattoo artist born and raised in a small town close to Montreal. As an entomology enthusiast, Stéphanie’s work is heavily focused around insects but also features a variety of nature themes that incorporate birds, amphibians, marine life, botanicals, fungi, and food. She approaches her tattoo designs with a scientific illustration style creating beautiful tattoos through the use of fine lines and shading. Stéphanie’s goal is to create work that changes the way we view insects and other wildlife - representing them in a positive light and focusing on their beauty and uniqueness.
When Stéphanie is not tattooing, you can find her taking care of her plants, and saving bees and frogs. You may also find her spinning on a pole or reading about bugs; she will be more than happy to tell you lots of fun insect facts during your session with her.
