Odette aka @minimini.ca, is a self-taught hand-poke artist and co-founder of ALWAYS. After working out of a few small private spaces, she joined forces with @katememphis in 2018 with a shared dream to open an inclusive tattoo studio that would foster creativity, community, and a safe space where other artists to work.
Born and raised in Mexico City, Odette’s work is inspired by Latin American folk arts & crafts, travelling, and vintage thrifting. Ceramics and textiles are among some of the many art practices that she enjoys. Her aesthetic is simple and quirky, and she loves to draw things like suns, butterflies, masks, animals, flowers, vases, and nudes.
